How do I apply for a dog?

Our waiting list can range anywhere from 1 to 3 years.  We do place on a first-come basis HOWEVER, there are times when a dog is graduated whose particular temperament, energy level, and skills are not compatible with the next person on the list.  In cases such as that, we pair the dog with the next most suitable partner.  This is to ensure the best pairing possible for dog and disabled person.  We will decline a partnership if it is decided the disabled person is not able to handle or care for the dog, or if placing a dog in a particular situation could be detrimental to the dog, handler, or both.  Our concern is not only for the disabled person, but for the dog as well.

Puppy raisers are the backbone of our organization.  Without their dedication, we would have no dogs to train. Our success is directly related to their willingness to raise, socialize, and care for these special dogs.
