KOOL Names for KOOL Puppies

New Horizons is a non-profit organization that provides trained service dogs to people with disabilities who cannot walk without assistance or who use wheelchairs. When "partnered" with a service dog, our clients can become more self-sufficient, enabling them to be less dependent on family members, co-workers or attendant care.

New Horizons has placed more than 125 dogs with people over the years. That's a lot of names that we've had to come up with. Every litter is assigned a theme (cartoon characters, cities, dances, airplanes) and we choose a name associated with the theme. The list below will give you a few ideas to show you how this works.

We have five litters ready to be born! And, we need the fans at KOOL 105.5 to come up with KOOL themes and names for our new puppies. Ask your friends and family for their ideas, too. If each mom has 6 puppies, that's 30 new names. We are asking the KOOL 105.5 supporters to be at their creative best and supply us with the most bodacious and fanciful names they can pull from their imaginations.
